The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Braunstein scores with a takedown into Doestevsky's guard. Doestevsky utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Braunstein missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Doestevsky pushes Braunstein off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Doestevsky is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Doestevsky tries to close the distance and clinch but Braunstein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Doestevsky is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Doestevsky tries to clinch up but Braunstein circles away and keeps his distance. Doestevsky gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Braunstein postures up.

Braunstein in side control, throwing shots but Doestevsky defends. Doestevsky is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Braunstein is controlling him well. Braunstein shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Braunstein was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Doestevsky closes the distance but Braunstein moves to the side and Braunstein decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Doestevsky's guard. Doestevsky is looking to stand up but Braunstein isn't so interested in that idea. Braunstein with a flurry of punches that miss. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Braunstein accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Doestevsky pushes Braunstein off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Braunstein lands a head kick. Doestevsky smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Braunstein shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Doestevsky manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Braunstein working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Doestevsky has Braunstein pulled in close to control his posture.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Doestevsky goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Doestevsky gets a clinch. Doestevsky working hard to break the clinch. Braunstein blocks an elbow strike. Doestevsky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Doestevsky feints and then cracks Braunstein's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Braunstein down. A decent looking body kick lands there for Doestevsky. Braunstein fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Doestevsky closes the distance but Braunstein moves to the side and Braunstein counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Doestevsky! Braunstein throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Doestevsky's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Doestevsky is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Braunstein looking to ground and pound but Doestevsky is blocking nicely. Braunstein thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Braunstein is landing with some decent strikes but Doestevsky is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doestevsky bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Braunstein working for a triangle but Doestevsky defends it easily.
Doestevsky gets to his feet - Braunstein follows without any prompting. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ron Braunstein dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Doestevsky darts in and clinches Braunstein up against the cage. Doestevsky lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Doestevsky is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Doestevsky tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Braunstein sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Doestevsky blocking the ground and pound. Samuel Doestevsky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Doestevsky really wants to buck Braunstein off and get back to his feet. Doestevsky wants to control but Braunstein is having none of it. Doestevsky can't escape the position.
Braunstein can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Doestevsky is looking to escape. Braunstein knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Doestevsky on the ground. Doestevsky wants to try and get back to his feet.
