Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rio Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Miller! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller swinging wildly here.
A punch combination from Miller misses. Miller throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Miller comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Miller tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Gracie trying to control the action but Miller is working from the bottom. Miller pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.
Gracie moves nicely into side control. Miller is not content to let Gracie control the position. A lull in the action here as Gracie stalls from top position.

Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Miller is defending well. Miller is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gracie asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. You can see the frustration on Miller's face as Gracie controls the position. Miller wants to get back to his feet but Gracie drags him back down. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller is trying to escape the position but Gracie is controlling the position. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working. Gracie is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Miller will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rio Gracie. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Miller misses with a jab, cross combination.
