The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veijalainen misses with a few strikes there.
Clay swings for the body but Veijalainen moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Veijalainen is defended easily by Clay.

Clay closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Clay's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Veijalainen closes the distance and clinches up with Clay, looking for a takedown. Veijalainen pushes Clay against the cage but Clay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Veijalainen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
