The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kellly misses with a wild combination.
Kellly throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kellly darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kellly looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kyle Kellly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King takes a swing at Kellly's ribcage but misses.
Kellly misses with a leg kick.
Kellly misses with a body kick.
Kellly throws out a leg kick but King moves out of range and Kellly only half commits.

Kellly swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

King doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

King closes the distance and clinches up with Kellly, looking for a takedown. King pushes Kellly against the ropes but Kellly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kyle Kellly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob King.

Kellly dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on King. That did some damage!

King drops his hands momentarily and Kellly takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Kellly uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kellly closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks King out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
