Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalsky lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gailfus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gailfus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kowalsky looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kowalsky gets back to half guard.
Gailfus is working for a submission of some sort.
Kowalsky regains full guard. Nicely done.
Kowalsky bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gailfus's guard.
Gailfus looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kowalsky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kowalsky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kowalsky wants to control from the top but Gailfus keeps moving.
Kowalsky is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gailfus throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kowalsky escapes and throws Gailfus's legs to the side, diving into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kowalsky has an Americana. Gailfus didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kowalsky is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kowalsky hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). John Kowalsky!
