Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jari Helenius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Engelbert Humperdinck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Engelbert Humperdinck is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helenius closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Helenius lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Helenius gets to his feet - Humperdinck follows without any prompting.

and Helenius counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Humperdinck is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Helenius shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Humperdinck manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Helenius connects with a nice short shot to Humperdinck's temple.

Humperdinck is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Helenius is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Helenius has escaped and now he's on top!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jari Helenius.
Well Helenius has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
