Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Uriy Sushkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juga Zmaj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Uriy Sushkov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Uriy Sushkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Juga Zmaj! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Sushkov catches Zmaj right on the button with a cross. Sushkov instigates a clinch. Sushkov tries for a takedown. No joy.
Sushkov is trying to force a seperation but Zmaj has the dominant position. Sushkov pulls guard effortlessly. Sushkov being controlled here, momentarily. Sushkov has momentary wrist control but Zmaj slips an elbow through the middle. Sushkov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zmaj. Zmaj is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zmaj thows a big elbow that misses. Zmaj has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Zmaj drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zmaj jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Zmaj looking to sit in guard and control but Sushkov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sushkov throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zmaj utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Zmaj is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sushkov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zmaj avoids the head kick by Sushkov.
Sushkov misses with a takedown attempt - Zmaj sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Zmaj leaves Sushkov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uriy Sushkov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zmaj with a lazy takedown attempt and Zmaj takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sushkov missing with a left hand there. Zmaj was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sushkov instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zmaj is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Sushkov is trying to stall.
Zmaj throws an elbow that misses.
Zmaj is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sushkov can't fight it off and eventually Zmaj manages to take the fight to the floor. Sushkov looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Zmaj throwing strikes but missing. Sushkov has momentary wrist control but Zmaj slips an elbow through the middle. Zmaj prevents Sushkov from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sushkov trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Zmaj pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sushkov is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zmaj is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sushkov working a defensive guard here.
Zmaj trying to control but Sushkov is working from the bottom. Sushkov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sushkov swats away the attempt to clinch by Zmaj. Sushkov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zmaj with a poor takedown and Sushkov counters with a nice double leg into guard. Sushkov is breathing heavily. Zmaj has control of Sushkov's left arm, preventing Sushkov from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zmaj looking for a triangle here. Sushkov is fighting it but it looks tight! Zmaj pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sushkov is tapping out - this one is all over!
