PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stevie Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buster Hymen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Walker might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thugs. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker leaves Hymen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Walker scores with a kick to the body.
Hymen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Walker rushes Hymen and presses him up against the cage.
Hymen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Walker pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Hymen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Walker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hymen, into his guard.

Hymen throws his legs up looking for a submission but Walker uses it to pass to side control.
Hymen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Walker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
