Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Flecher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar has chosen A Bid Farewell as his entrance music. Brock Lesnar acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marco Flecher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar misses with the combination.

Lesnar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lesnar prevents Flecher from improving his position.
Lesnar is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Flecher looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lesnar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lesnar shoots for a double leg takedown but Flecher sprawls well. He's pushed Lesnar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Flecher doesn't manage to clinch there - Lesnar circles away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Flecher keeping moving, preventing Lesnar from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Marco Flecher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lesnar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Flecher pinned against the cage. Flecher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Flecher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Flecher tries to close the distance and clinch but Lesnar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lesnar goes for a takedown attempt but Flecher pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lesnar throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

and Lesnar counters with a single leg into guard. Flecher didn't expect that.
Flecher controls Lesnar momentarily but Lesnar frees himself.

Lesnar is trying to trip Flecher. He has hold of a leg but Flecher is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lesnar persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Brock Lesnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!



Lesnar shoots in and bounces Flecher off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Brock Lesnar has got the better of the ground game so far.

Flecher is looking to control Lesnar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Flecher avoid being mounted?

Lesnar takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Flecher wants to control but Lesnar is keeping busy.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Flecher is doing well to control the position and prevent Lesnar from advancing to side control.
Lesnar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Flecher's head.
Flecher trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Lesnar manages to pass to mount!
Lesnar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Flecher is looking to get to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Flecher tries to lock up and control but Lesnar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Lesnar sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

I've got Lesnar winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
