Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banner comes to the cage accompanied by Animal I've Become. The key to victory for Bruce Banner has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Banner! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Jones! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Banner.
Banner lands with an overhand left. Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Banner.
Banner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Banner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Banner scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Marcus Jones has been cut. Banner lands a nice shot that snaps Jones's head back.
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Banner had a free shot at his head there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Banner is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. No joy there for Banner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Banner throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Banner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Banner's guard now. Banner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. Jones wants to control from the top but Banner keeps moving. Banner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Banner wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jones stands up over Banner, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Banner preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Banner wants to stand but Jones is controlling the position. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Banner is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea. Jones works over Banner with some ground and pound from guard. Banner keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jones trying to control but Banner is working from the bottom. Banner wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jones missing with a left hand there. Banner was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Banner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Banner punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch. Jones looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A jab from Banner does it's job there. Jones scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Nice jab there from Banner. Banner throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Banner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though. Banner scores with a hook. A combination from Banner does no damage. Jones has a takedown stuffed. Banner scores with a one two! Jones had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Banner punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch. Jones drops his hands momentarily and Banner takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That has opened up Marcus Jones's cut even more. Bruce Banner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fighters circle momentarily. Banner darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Banner closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Jones! Banner dives in looking to finish! Jones is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Banner! Bruce Banner is the new heavyweight champion!
