Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Weinmeister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esta me Dinero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Esta me Dinero told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dirk Weinmeister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Esta me Dinero!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weinmeister shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dinero defends it nicely.
Dinero looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Weinmeister wants to clinch up but Dinero keeps it at a distance.
Dinero is trying hard to land a takedown here. Weinmeister sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Dinero shoots for a takedown but Weinmeister saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Weinmeister stands up out of the half guard.

Weinmeister misses with a takedown attempt - Dinero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Weinmeister shoots in looking for a takedown. Dinero tries to sprawl out of it but Weinmeister keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dinero manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dinero is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dinero fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Dinero. Weinmeister shrugs it off though.

Dinero drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dinero jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Weinmeister wants to sweep here but Dinero controlling him for the moment.

Dinero jumps guard but Weinmeister stands there with Dinero around his waist. Dinero gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Weinmeister's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Weinmeister tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dinero smiles and moves away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dinero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Weinmeister tries to avoid it but Dinero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Weinmeister to the ground. Weinmeister escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Weinmeister avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Weinmeister feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dinero's calf.

Dinero has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Weinmeister.
Dinero shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Weinmeister sprawls well. Weinmeister wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dinero gets slowly back to his feet.

Horrible takedown by Weinmeister or perhaps it was just good defense by Dinero which made him look bad.
