Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Marconi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Elliot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marconi comes to the cage accompanied by Ranson. Elliot has chosen Party Up as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vincent Marconi ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cole Elliot! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A leg kick checked by Marconi . Marconi looks to land a combination but Elliot avoids it well. Elliot shoots in for a takedown but Marconi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A jab lands there for Marconi . Elliot shoots in but Marconi avoids the takedown attempt easily. A big right from Elliot misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marconi gets caught flat footed, as Elliot shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Elliot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marconi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Marconi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Elliot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Marconi is trying to keep Elliot in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Elliot slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Elliot tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Elliot is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marconi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Elliot wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Marconi , who protects the arm well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Elliot slows the pace down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cole Elliot dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Elliot throws a shot from downtown. Marconi moves away and avoids it. Marconi stuffs the takedown attempt from Elliot. Elliot gets slowly back to his feet. Cole Elliot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marconi throws a low kick but it's checked well by Elliot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Elliot shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marconi pinned against the cage. Marconi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marconi ducks under a wild hook from Elliot. Marconi slips under a jab from Elliot. Elliot throws a body punch but Marconi moves out of range. Elliot throws a hook but Marconi avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Elliot looks to throw the jab but Marconi is out of range. Marconi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Elliot throws a hook to the side of Marconi 's head but Marconi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Elliot throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Vincent Marconi has been cut. Vincent Marconi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Marconi misses with the combination.
Marconi fails to land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jab from Marconi . Elliot dives in and grabs Marconi 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Marconi pushes down on Elliot's head and hops out. Vincent Marconi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cole Elliot. Marconi misses with a series of wild punches.
Marconi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Elliot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Marconi .
Marconi is looking to clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Elliot gets the takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cole Elliot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Vincent Marconi 's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Marconi ducks under a wild hook from Elliot. Elliot scores with a takedown into Marconi 's guard. Elliot's corner is telling him to maintain position. Elliot drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Marconi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Elliot has Marconi in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elliot looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marconi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Elliot is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Elliot looking for a guillotine here but Marconi defends easily.

Cole Elliot is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Elliot controlling Marconi 's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
And that's the end of the fight! Cole Elliot comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Elliot winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
