Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Kidd will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Kidd! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kidd misses with a wild combination.
Hawk shoots in looking for a takedown. Kidd tries to sprawl out of it but Hawk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kidd manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kidd misses with a few strikes there.
Hawk looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hawk stands up from Kidd's guard - Hawk perhaps looking for a knockout. Hawk moves into range and clinches up with Kidd. Hawk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hawk misses with a head kick.
Hawk throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kidd. Kidd throws a right and a left that both miss. Hawk pushes Kidd up against the cage in a clinch. Hawk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hawk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kidd, pushing him back against the cage. Hawk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A punch combination from Kidd misses. Kidd will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hawk avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kidd looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kidd leaves Hawk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hawk scores a takedown into full mount! Hawk tries to control but Kidd wriggling away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawk misses with a head shot. Hawk wants to control the pace but Kidd is squirming around nicely. Hawk is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kidd can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hawk throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kidd because Hawk loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk is working for a guillotine from mount but Kidd frees his head quite easily.
Hawk tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hawk is breathing heavily. Hawk landing shots from mount. Hawk tries to control but Kidd wriggling away. Kidd wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk controlling from mount. Kidd wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hawk.
Hawk tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kidd really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hawk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hawk throwing strikes here but Kidd is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hawk takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Hawk is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Hawk!
