Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Grubbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Grubbs! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Grubbs in a clinch.
Grubbs tries to break the clinch but Johnson is controlling the position. Johnson stalls. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Johnson pressing his opponent against the cage. Johnson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Grubbs uses from the top position. Johnson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Johnson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Johnson stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grubbs pushes Johnson back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Grubbs trying to stall but Johnson improves his position.
Johnson breaks from the clinch.
Johnson has a takedown stuffed. Grubbs tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Johnson misses the jab. Grubbs pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Johnson throws a series of punches but Grubbs avoids them all with ease. Grubbs lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Grubbs. Johnson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Grubbs stuffs the takedown attempt from Johnson. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet. Grubbs throws a wild body kick that Johnson sees coming a mile off. Johnson clinches up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grubbs stalling the fight.
Johnson tries to score a body lock takedown but Grubbs shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Grubbs stalling.
Grubbs fails to pull guard.
Johnson tries to pull guard but Grubbs holds him up against the cage and eventually Johnson drops back down to his feet.
Johnson pulls guard successfully.
Grubbs trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson looking to control.
Grubbs must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Grubbs is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Johnson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grubbs wants to stand but Johnson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Johnson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Grubbs wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving. Grubbs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Grubbs being controlled here momentarily. Grubbs prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Grubbs with a flurry of punches that miss. Johnson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Grubbs rolls with it to try and escape but Johnson cranks on the arm and Grubbs is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
