Pong avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pong shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cyrus is trying to defend but Pong finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Cyrus trying to hold on to Pong's head to control him but Pong postures up.
Cyrus manages to get to full guard.
Cyrus being controlled here, momentarily.
Cyrus thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Pong won't allow Cyrus to sweep him here.
Pong tries to free his leg and advance position but Cyrus is retaining full guard.
Cyrus looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Cyrus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pong manages to get himself to full guard.
Cyrus postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cyrus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cyrus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pong works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pong has momentary wrist control but Cyrus slips an elbow through the middle.
Pong is rocked!
Cyrus loads up on a big left hand. Pong felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Cyrus looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Pong can't hide his disappointment, as Cyrus celebrates the victory.
