The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lewis sprawls well initially but Ray Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ray Silva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lewis is trying to buck Ray Silva off.
Lewis takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Lewis parries the strikes from Ray Silva easily there. Ray Silva is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lewis to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
