Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roger Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roger Huerta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huerta closes the distance and clinches. Diaz tries for a takedown but Huerta manages to get underhooks.

Huerta has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Diaz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Huerta tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Diaz smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Huerta. That's going to take a lot out of him. Huerta scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Diaz sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Huerta wants to stand up but Diaz is controlling the position.
Huerta trying to control from half guard but Diaz is working away. Huerta tries to pass to full mount but Diaz defends it. Huerta blocks the strikes from Diaz.
That's one minute gone in the round. Huerta is keen to just control but Diaz is a slippery customer. Diaz tries to get to full guard but Huerta has control of the leg. Huerta is stalling here. Diaz is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Huerta seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Diaz has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Huerta tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diaz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Diaz fails with the takedown and Huerta counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Diaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Huerta can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Huerta looking to pass the guard. Huerta is breathing heavily. Diaz keeping moving, preventing Huerta from controlling successfully. Diaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Huerta stopping the sweep attempt from Diaz.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Huerta trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Diaz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Huerta gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Diaz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Huerta! Diaz is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Huerta is forced to tap! Great finish!
