Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samual Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Powers's choice of entrance music: Saved by the Bell. Samual Powers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samual Powers!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers throws a head kick but Castle moves out of range.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Powers swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Castle is now in Powers's guard. A big mistake from Powers there, giving up the dominant position!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Samual Powers.

Powers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Castle sprawls well initially but Powers persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Powers fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Castle.

Powers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Castle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Powers has managed to get both his arms back between Castle's legs - danger averted.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Castle has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Powers is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Castle.

Powers thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Powers seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Powers is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Castle can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Powers is looking to work his way around to Castle's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Well Powers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
