Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Day Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Day Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Miller! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Man throws a head kick but Miller moves out of range.
Miller fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Man attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Man gets caught flat footed, as Miller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Man managing to control the position. Man is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Miller works over Man with some ground and pound from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller throwing strikes but missing. Miller trying to stand up but can't free himself from Man's guard. Miller throwing strikes from guard but Man blocks nicely. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Man looking to control.
Miller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Miller seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Man on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Man tries to get out of the position. Man is looking to stand back up but Miller counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Man. Miller sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Man defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Miller looks to land a body kick but Man moved away. Miller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Man stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Man wants it to stay on the feet. Day Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Miller. Man scores with a kick to the midsection. Miller looks gassed! Man tries a head kick but it misses.
Man will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Man fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Miller checks it well. Miller checks the leg kick. Miller checks a low kick from Man. Miller blocks a head kick by Man.
Miller checks a leg kick nicely. Man attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Man tries to work over Miller's front leg with a kick but Miller checks it. Man gets off balance looking for a body kick and Miller counters with a shoot takedown. Man fights it but they end up in guard. Man is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Miller dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A head kick misses from Man. Man throws a sloppy head kick and Miller moves out of range easily. Man misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Man throws a head kick that misses and Miller counters with a shoot takedown. Man fights it but they end up in guard. Man knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground. Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Man swivels though and keeps the full guard. Miller trying to control but Man is working from the bottom. Man is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Miller! Man controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Miller is squirming around, avoiding Man's attempts to control the action. Man is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Miller is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller tries to lock up and control but Man gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Man controlling his opponent. Man wants to control the pace but Miller is squirming around nicely.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Day Man just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. A nice inside leg kick there by Miller. That's going to slow Man down. Miller scores with a leg kick.
Day Man is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Man throws a sloppy head kick and Miller counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Miller. Man is pressed up against the cage. Miller has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Man down to the mat. Man avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Miller is breathing heavily. A leg kick checked by Miller. Man finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Man pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Miller tries to clinch but Man is having none of it. Man tries a head kick but it misses.
Man throws a sloppy head kick and Miller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Miller pushes down on Man's leg and manages to get into half guard. Miller drops an elbow to the side of Man's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Man throws a lazy head kick enabling Miller to counter with a crisp jab. A head kick by Man misses and Miller counters with a head kick. That will keep Man thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Miller is looking to land body kicks. Day Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Man throws a sloppy head kick and Miller counters with a low kick, right behind Man 's knee. Miller pulls out of a head kick attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Man uses from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Man would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller looking for a sweep. Not yet Miller, not yet. Miller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Man would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Man stands and steps away. Miller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Man throws a sloppy head kick and Miller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Man won't be happy with that. Man tries to bench press Miller off him but Miller keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Man managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Miller.

Man trying to get back to his feet but Miller is in full control for now. Man is trapped and Miller is scoring with shots to the head and body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man trying to control the hands but Miller breaks the grip. Ryan Miller has got the better of the ground game so far. Man is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Man avoids the strikes from Miller. Miller struggling to land strikes to the head as Man covers up. What can Man do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Miller is looking to control Man but Man is wriggling around and keeping busy. Man wants to control his opponent's hands but Miller gets his hands free. Day Man has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Man covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Miller is trying to stick to Man's back but Man is turning into Miller. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Miller's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Man.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Miller winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
