Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Jordan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonas Loteyro! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Loteyro napping and manages to drive through into side control! Loteyro is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Jordan is staying tight to Loteyro's torso, preventing him from escaping. Loteyro is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Loteyro is trying to improve his position. Loteyro is being controlled here. Jordan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Loteyro has escaped the position, nice work there. You can see the frustration on Loteyro's face as Jordan controls the position. Loteyro wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Loteyro is trying to get back to half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Loteyro gets caught flat footed, as Jordan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Loteyro is trying to escape the position but Jordan is controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jon Jordan. Loteyro gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jordan's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jordan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Loteyro's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Still in half guard, Jordan seems content to control. Jordan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Loteyro pushes Jordan off looking to stand but Jordan dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jordan in particular looking to stall. Loteyro has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jordan is working away from the top position though. Jordan is controlling the pace.
Jordan has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jordan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jordan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Loteyro looks a forlorn figure.

Jon Jordan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jordan prevents Loteyro from getting the reversal.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Jordan showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jordan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
