Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Celso Neto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neto comes into the arena with Gnarls Barkley - Crazy blaring out of the sound system. Paul is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Picture Me Rollin'. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Celso Neto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blake Paul! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Neto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Paul tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Neto smiles and moves away.
Paul stuffs the takedown attempt from Neto. Neto gets slowly back to his feet. Neto shoots in for a double leg but Paul sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paul moves into the clinch. Paul breaks from the clinch.
Paul tries a low kick but Neto avoids it. Neto will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Celso Neto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Neto gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Paul regains guard.
Neto trying to control but Paul is working from the bottom. Paul is trying to keep Neto in close.
Paul pulls Neto in close to prevent any damage. Neto wants to control from the top but Paul keeps moving. Paul controlling Neto's posture.

Paul can't keep his opponent in guard - Neto advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Neto wants to pass the guard but Paul is defending well. Paul wants to control but Neto is keeping busy and won't allow it. Neto wants to take a breather but Paul is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paul is controlling Neto's position as best he can from this difficult position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paul wants to control but Neto is keeping busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Neto fails with an attempt to clinch.
Neto fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Paul avoids it really well and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Neto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Paul sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Neto somewhat. Neto shoots for a takedown but Paul saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Neto is breathing heavily. Neto comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Neto swats away the attempt to clinch by Paul. Paul throws a head kick that misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Paul gets the takedown into side control. Neto wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Blake Paul will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Neto fails to land the takedown. Neto is looking to clinch. Paul misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Neto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Paul. Paul rushes Neto and presses him up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paul tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Neto smiles and moves away.
Paul shoots in for a takedown but Neto shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Celso Neto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blake Paul.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paul throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Neto was covering up waiting for the punch and Paul finishes the takedown easily into guard. Paul postures up.
Paul stands up from guard. Let's bang! Paul shoots in for a takedown but Neto shows good takedown defense. Paul leaves Neto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Neto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Paul is fending him off so far but Neto persists. Nope, Paul circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Neto doesn't manage to clinch there - Paul circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neto has his takedown stuffed so Paul counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Neto is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Neto is looking for a triangle but Paul pushes his legs off easily.
Paul gets to his feet. Neto looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Neto moves out of range of the body kick. Neto fails to land the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paul forces Neto back against the cage and clinches. Paul pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Neto checks a leg kick nicely. A head kick from Paul lands but Neto takes it in his stride.
It looks like Celso Neto has been cut. No luck for Neto with that takedown attempt. Paul misses with an attempted mid kick.
Paul gets a takedown into half guard. Paul gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neto tries to keep at a distance but Paul has taken the fight into the clinch. Neto throws a head punch that misses. Neto tries to score a body lock takedown but Paul shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Neto has Paul pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Paul manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Neto goes for a takedown attempt but Paul pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Paul darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blake Paul showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Celso Neto's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Neto blocks a head kick by Paul.
Neto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Paul really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Neto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Paul is pulling down on Neto's head. It's preventing any offense from Neto, at least for the moment. Paul wants to sweep here but Neto controlling him for the moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Neto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Paul swivels though and keeps the full guard. Neto trying to control the position from guard on top but Paul is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paul is adopting a defensive guard. Paul trying to keep a closed guard but Neto is proving a slippery customer.
Neto wants to control from the top but Paul keeps moving. Paul is trying to keep Neto in close.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paul can do anything to dispel that myth.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Neto is trying hard to land a takedown here. Paul sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Excellent takedown into side control there by Paul. Paul stands up and we're back to a striking position. Neto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Paul's waist but Paul gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Neto off to one side. Paul fails in his attempt to clinch. Neto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Paul defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Celso Neto. That's going to take a lot out of him. Paul gets a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neto tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Paul fails to pull guard.
A frustrated look appears on Neto's face as he tries to break the clinch. Neto tries for a takedown. No joy.
Neto wants to get back to striking at distance but Paul won't allow it.

Paul is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Paul continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Paul keeps control of Neto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Neto tries for a takedown but Paul manages to get underhooks.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Neto tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Paul's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Paul throws a sloppy head kick and Neto moves out of range easily. Celso Neto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Paul feints and as Neto raises his hands in defense, Paul changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Paul stands up from guard. Let's bang! Celso Neto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Blake Paul is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Paul pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Blake Paul comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Paul has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
