Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Katsu Imai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Lilja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Katsu Imai has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Katsu Imai seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lilja is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
David Lilja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lilja blocks a low kick nicely.
Lilja tries to clinch there but Imai circles away.
Lilja fails in his attempt to clinch.
Imai drives through and clinches with Lilja against the cage.
Imai turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Imai blocks the strikes from Lilja.
Check out the look on Imai's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Lilja is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Imai thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lilja is still in real trouble! Can Imai finish him?
Lilja is trying to buck Imai off.
Imai looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Lilja prevents Imai from moving into mount.
Lilja seems to have recovered his senses.
Lilja is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lilja is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Imai has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Imai circles away from the clinch attempt
and Imai counters with a head kick that wobbles Lilja - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Imai sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Katsu Imai!
