Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomas Grgic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tomas Grgic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Rock! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grgic shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rock defends it nicely. Rock keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Grgic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rock as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomas Grgic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Grgic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rock as he jumps to the side. Rock rushes Grgic and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rock pulls guard. Grgic wants to stand but Rock is controlling his posture from full guard. Grgic trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Rock looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rock wants to stand up but Grgic is controlling him. Rock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grgic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Grgic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rock will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Grgic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rock sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Grgic somewhat. Rock drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rock stands up and beckons Grgic to his feet. Grgic misses with a takedown attempt and Rock counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rock. Grgic is breathing heavily. Rock slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rock trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rock wants to pass the guard but Grgic is keeping the position. Rock trying to control the position from guard on top but Grgic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rock postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rock tries to stand but Grgic is controlling from the bottom. Rock gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grgic misses with a takedown and Rock counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Rock has picked Grgic up - he's going for a ride! Rock dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Rock prevents Grgic from standing back up.
Well, if Rock is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rock in particular looking to stall. Grgic is trying to stand.
Rock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Grgic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rock passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Grgic! Rock content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robbie Rock dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Grgic gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rock counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Grgic is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rock. Grgic with a lazy takedown attempt and Rock counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Grgic's guard now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rock controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Grgic is working an open guard so Rock takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Left hook, right uppercut from Rock. Rock clinches with his opponent.
Rock throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Rock has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Grgic clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Grgic looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grgic covering up well under a series of strikes from Rock. Grgic is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rock gets his way!
Even with his hooks in, Rock manages to miss with strikes from the back. Rock throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rock landing with strikes. Rock throwing wild punches that miss their target. Robbie Rock has got the better of the ground game so far. Rock throwing sloppy strikes. Rock slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Rock lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Rock lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Rock scores with punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rock has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Rock controls the action. Grgic grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rock lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Grgic has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Rock. Rock controlling the position well here. Grgic rolled but Rock kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Rock tightening his grip on Grgic, looking for the choke. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grgic staying busy and making it hard for Rock to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robbie Rock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Grgic with a poor takedown and Rock counters with a straight right hand. Rock moves into range and clinches up with Grgic. Grgic lands a damaging elbow. Grgic connects with a knee to the head.
Grgic throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rock blocks it with crossed arms. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rock just misses with a elbow thrown towards Grgic's brow. Rock is trying to force a seperation but Grgic has the dominant position. Grgic tries for a takedown. No joy.
Rock is pressed up against the cage. Grgic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rock down to the mat. Rock avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomas Grgic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Grgic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rock has closed the distance and engaged Grgic in a clinch.
Rock gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Rock is looking to work some ground and pound but Grgic has wrist control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rock is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Grgic keeping full guard, as Rock tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rock won't allow Grgic to get back to his feet. Grgic avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rock is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Rock wants to pass the guard but Grgic is keeping the position. Grgic is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rock seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Grgic working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rock. Rock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Grgic works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rock trying to control the position from guard on top but Grgic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Grgic tries to keep at a distance but Rock has taken the fight into the clinch. Grgic wants a takedown but no success here.
Grgic creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Rock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rock has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Grgic doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rock counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rock. Rock stands up and waves to Grgic to follow him. Tomas Grgic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rock throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Grgic was covering up waiting for the punch and Rock finishes the takedown easily into guard. Rock postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rock controlling from the top position. Rock postures up in Grgic's guard and throws a big left but Grgic blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! Robbie Rock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
