Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kane shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches ewg napping and manages to drive through into side control!
ewg tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kane is trying to get an arm triangle but ewg is defending well.
ewg sneaks back into half guard.
Kane seems to be looking for submissions.
Kane works his way into side control.
Kane tries for a kimura but ewg is defending well.
ewg should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
ewg wants to get back to his feet but Kane drags him back down.

Kane goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, ewg has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kane but great work by ewg.
Kane can't do much from the bottom here.
Kane is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
ewg wants to stand but Kane has his arm trapped.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kane sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kane is trying to get back to full guard.
Kane slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
ewg wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kane is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and ewg defends well.
ewg slips nicely into half guard.
Kane tries to roll over but ewg keeps him under control.

Kane looks like he's trying to stand up.

Kane is pressing down on ewg's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
ewg is sitting in close to Kane's body. Kane has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! ewg is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, ewg is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kane.
