Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Red Rum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Red Rum has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Harris!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris keeps the fight on the outside.
Harris shoots in for a takedown but Rum shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Harris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harris somewhat.
Rum lands a nice leg kick that just misses Harris's sensitive parts.
Rum throws a head kick that misses.
Rum lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Harris takes a knee to the side of the body.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Rum is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Harris is just riding it out for now. Rum eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Harris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rum's waist but Rum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harris off to one side.
Rum moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rum lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Harris has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Harris and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Red Rum will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Harris shoots and misses

Harris tries to pull guard but Rum holds him up against the cage and eventually Harris drops back down to his feet.

Red Rum is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
