Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mr Ab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfonso de Asis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ab's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Echidna's Arf part 2 . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mr Ab!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alfonso de Asis!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as de Asis checks a leg kick.
Ab is looking to clinch but de Asis is avoiding it.

Ab closes the distance and pushes de Asis back into the cage.

Ab breaks the clinch.
de Asis lands with a straight right. Ab didn't see that one coming.


It looks like Mr Ab has been cut.
Alfonso de Asis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ab pushes de Asis up against the cage in a clinch.
de Asis has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ab effectively controlling the action here.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Ab for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

A slow jab from Ab misses its intended target.

Ab darts in and clinches de Asis up against the cage.
Ab tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
de Asis has Ab pressed against the cage, preventing Ab from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Ab escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
de Asis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ab moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ab takes the fight into the clinch.

Ab's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ab throws a leg kick but de Asis sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Ab throws a jab but it's blocked by de Asis.

de Asis connects with a right hand. Ab shakes it off.
de Asis throws a sloppy head kick and Ab moves out of range easily.
Ab ducks down and throws a hook to the body but de Asis moves away.
de Asis slips a jab from Ab.

Ab throws a shot from downtown. de Asis moves away and avoids it.
Ab pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ab throws a shot from downtown. de Asis moves away and avoids it.
Ab tries to clinch but de Asis is having none of it.
de Asis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ab thows a left - swing and a miss!

de Asis throws and low kick but Ab moves out of range easily.

Ab lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ab tries to clinch but de Asis moves out of range.
de Asis slips a straight right by Ab.
de Asis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ab circles away quickly and effectively.
de Asis throws a series of punches but Ab avoids them all with ease.
Ab fails in his attempt to clinch.
de Asis misses with a body kick.
Ab wants to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ab throws an uppercut from half a mile away. de Asis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A slow jab from Ab misses its intended target.
Ab missing with a left hand there. de Asis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
de Asis tries to bum rush Ab with a series of wild strikes but Ab uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
de Asis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ab doesn't manage to clinch there - de Asis circles away.
Ab misses with a looping left.
de Asis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from de Asis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ab has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ab and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ab walks into a left hand.

de Asis drops Ab with a beautiful combination! Ab stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - de Asis is looking for the KO!


Ab is rocked!
Ab is breathing heavily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ab tries to clinch up.
Oh Ab is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
de Asis throws a sloppy head kick and Ab moves out of range easily.
de Asis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ab.
Ab seems to have got his legs back now.
de Asis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
de Asis connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Ab! He's out on his feet! de Asis rushes in and drops Ab with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Alfonso de Asis!
