Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jun Kimura!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimy Jones!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kimura as he jumps to the side.
Kimura fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Kimura persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kimura will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kimura scores with a couple of nice shots.
Kimura scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Jones has eaten all the pies!
Kimura looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kimura lands with a punch from half guard.
Jones is looking to control Kimura's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kimura connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kimura with the ground and pound but Jones uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Jones has momentary wrist control but Kimura slips an elbow through the middle.
Jones is rocked!
Kimura works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Jones is still in real trouble! Can Kimura finish him?
Kimura uses his free foot to push down on Jones's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jones.
Jones tries to improve his position but Kimura has taken his back! Kimura has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Jones tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Kimura pushes Jones away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jun Kimura!
Jun Kimura is the new lightweight champion!
