The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bashara.
Bashara scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bashara!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doe looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bashara!
Doe jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bashara manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Doe in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Doe is trying to get an arm triangle but Bashara is defending well.
Bashara is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bashara is not content to let Doe control the position.
Doe tries for a kimura but Bashara is defending well.
Doe stands up.
Doe looks gassed!
A big right from Bashara misses.
Bashara lands with a hook. Doe tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like John Doe has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bashara rushes Doe with punches - Doe moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Doe goes down! Bashara follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
