Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cal Gehrig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig McDaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDaniel has chosen Not Afraid as his entrance music. Cal Gehrig has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cal Gehrig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Craig McDaniel!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gehrig tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McDaniel blocks a low kick nicely.
Gehrig misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McDaniel slips a jab and a cross from Gehrig.
Gehrig throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gehrig keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McDaniel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gehrig's waist but Gehrig gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDaniel off to one side.
Gehrig swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gehrig throws a head kick but McDaniel moves out of range.
Gehrig looks to land a body kick but McDaniel moved away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McDaniel closes the distance and clinches up with Gehrig, looking for a takedown. McDaniel pushes Gehrig against the cage but Gehrig circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cal Gehrig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig McDaniel.
No luck for McDaniel with that takedown attempt.
McDaniel fails with a takedown attempt.
Cal Gehrig is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick from Gehrig lands but McDaniel takes it in his stride.

It looks like Craig McDaniel has been cut.
Gehrig lands with a right that hurts McDaniel. McDaniel looks to clinch but Gehrig throws a short knee that drops McDaniel. This one is all over!
