Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bazyl Iwanowicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Clapper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bazyl Iwanowicz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rusty Clapper! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iwanowicz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Clapper. Iwanowicz looks for the body kick but Clapper saw that one coming. Clapper throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Iwanowicz was covering up waiting for the punch and Clapper finishes the takedown easily into guard. Iwanowicz keeping full guard, as Clapper tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clapper postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Clapper throwing strikes from guard but Iwanowicz blocks nicely. Clapper trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Clapper pushing down on Iwanowicz's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clapper is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clapper is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Iwanowicz is just riding it out for now. Clapper eventually gives up the hold. Iwanowicz is defending against the submission attempts here by Clapper.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Clapper wants to pass the guard but Iwanowicz is defending well. Clapper is trying to control the action in half guard but Iwanowicz is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Iwanowicz trying to control here.
Clapper is looking for a kimura but Iwanowicz is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Clapper to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clapper is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Iwanowicz is just riding it out for now. Clapper eventually gives up the hold. Clapper looks gassed! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Clapper is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Iwanowicz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clapper on the ground. Clapper drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Iwanowicz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Clapper has Iwanowicz in his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Iwanowicz trying to control but Clapper is working from the bottom. Clapper trying to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Iwanowicz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Clapper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Iwanowicz has managed to get both his arms back between Clapper's legs - danger averted. Clapper had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Iwanowicz defends it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rusty Clapper dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Iwanowicz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Clapper ducks right into an uppercut from Iwanowicz. Iwanowicz looks for the body kick but Clapper saw that one coming. Clapper takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Horrible takedown by Clapper or perhaps it was just good defense by Iwanowicz which made him look bad. Clapper shoots in and bounces Iwanowicz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Iwanowicz trying to keep a closed guard but Clapper is proving a slippery customer.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clapper trying to control the position from guard on top but Iwanowicz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clapper postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Iwanowicz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Clapper, into his guard. Iwanowicz trying to control but Clapper is working from the bottom. Clapper has a closed guard, preventing Iwanowicz from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Iwanowicz stays in close to Clapper's body and controls the position. Iwanowicz wants to control from the top but Clapper keeps moving. Clapper escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Iwanowicz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Iwanowicz postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clapper might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Iwanowicz kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Clapper has his foot on Iwanowicz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Iwanowicz works his way back into a safe position though. Iwanowicz looking to pass the guard. Clapper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Iwanowicz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Iwanowicz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Clapper has his foot on Iwanowicz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Iwanowicz works his way back into a safe position though. Iwanowicz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Clapper doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Clapper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Iwanowicz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Iwanowicz tries to bum rush Clapper with a series of wild strikes but Clapper uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Iwanowicz throws a right and a left that Clapper avoids nicely. Clapper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Iwanowicz swivels and escapes. Bazyl Iwanowicz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rusty Clapper. Clapper pushes Iwanowicz up against the cage in a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Rusty Clapper will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Iwanowicz looks for the body kick but Clapper saw that one coming. Clapper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Clapper sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Iwanowicz is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Clapper looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Clapper looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Iwanowicz is avoiding damage well.
Iwanowicz regains half guard, as Clapper was trying to land strikes. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Clapper wants to control but Iwanowicz is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Iwanowicz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Clapper is working away from the top position though. Clapper is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Iwanowicz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Clapper. Clapper looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Clapper is looking to pass Iwanowicz's guard but actually Iwanowicz recovers to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clapper drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Iwanowicz dives on top into guard. Iwanowicz showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Clapper working for a triangle but Iwanowicz defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Clapper throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Iwanowicz controls from within his opponent's guard. Bazyl Iwanowicz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rusty Clapper is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Clapper is trying to keep Iwanowicz in close.
And that's the end of the fight! Rusty Clapper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Clapper winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
