Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Hopp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan comes to the cage accompanied by Airplanes. The key to victory for Dexter Morgan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dexter Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Hopp!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan rushes Hopp and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Morgan manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Hopp tries for a takedown. No joy.
Knees to the body from Morgan.
Hopp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hopp shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Morgan napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Morgan sneaks back into half guard.
Morgan is trying to stand.
Hopp tries to pass to full mount but Morgan defends it.
Hopp is trying to control the action in half guard but Morgan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hopp moves nicely into side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Morgan tries to clinch but Hopp moves out of range.

Morgan wants to control but Hopp is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Morgan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hopp has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morgan has managed to get both his arms back between Hopp's legs - danger averted.

Hopp bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Morgan's guard.
Hopp drops back, looking for a kneebar! Morgan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Morgan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Morgan!
Hopp tries to bench press Morgan off him but Morgan keeps the position.
Hopp is breathing heavily.

Morgan lands a decent elbow from side control.
Morgan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hopp's shoulder. That is not cool.
Hopp is looking for a sweep.
Hopp manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Hopp looking for submissions off his back.
Morgan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hopp knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Hopp is staying active underneath Morgan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Morgan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hopp is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Morgan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hopp fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morgan avoids it really well and circles away.
Hopp takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Horrible takedown by Hopp or perhaps it was just good defense by Morgan which made him look bad.
Dexter Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Hopp.

Hopp swats away the attempt to clinch by Morgan.
Morgan tries to clinch up but Hopp circles away and keeps his distance.

Morgan cracks Hopp with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Morgan rushes Hopp and presses him up against the cage.
Hopp tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Morgan smiles and moves away.

Morgan throws a right hand that Hopp ducks under and follows up with a left that Hopp also avoids with ease.

Hopp with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hopp stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morgan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hopp thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hopp takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Morgan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hopp manages to get himself to full guard.
