Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Im a playa as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rashad Green! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randall Johnson! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Johnson. That one must have hurt. Johnson walks into a straight right hand from Green.
It looks like Randall Johnson has been cut. Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Green.
A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target. Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there. Johnson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Johnson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Johnson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Johnson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is trying to control. Green wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Green is trying to get back to full guard. Johnson trying to control the action but Green is working from the bottom. Johnson throwing shots but Green is blocking nicely.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Johnson shoots in and drives through. Green sprawls well. Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Green.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Johnson, right into the meat.
Johnson tries to land a leg kick but Green saw it coming and moves away.
Johnson cracks the inside of Green's front leg. Johnson moves out of range of the strikes. Green misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Green looks to score with a jab to the body but Johnson is just out of range. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Green swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Green jabbing away but nothing is landing. Johnson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Johnson throwing shots but Green is blocking nicely. Green blocking the ground and pound attempt from Johnson. Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Green is refusing to be controlled, as Johnson sits in half guard. Johnson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Green defending well though. Johnson trying to control from Green's half guard. Green has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Johnson looking to pass the guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Green moves out of range easily. Johnson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Green. Green stuffs the takedown. Green throws out a powerful jab. Green blocks the body kick.
Johnson takes a jab right on the kisser.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Green rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rashad Green will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Randall Johnson's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Johnson throws a wild body kick that Green sees coming a mile off. Green checks the leg kick nicely there.
Green throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease. Green checks a leg kick. Johnson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Johnson is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson throws a strike but Green avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Green keeping full guard, as Johnson tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson looking to sit in guard and control but Green gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Green is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Johnson is looking to sweep but instead, Green has passed into half guard.
Green knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground. Green trying to control from half guard but Johnson is working away. Johnson is trying to maintain the position but Green is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Green postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Johnson to stand up. Johnson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Green. Johnson throws a body punch but Green moves out of range. Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Green. Green lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Green ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away. Green swings away with a body shot that misses
and Johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Green keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. Green tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson with a flurry of punches that miss. Johnson trying to control but Green is working from the bottom. Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Green looking to control.
Green utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Johnson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Green. Johnson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Johnson throws a sloppy body shot

A shot to the body from Johnson misses and Johnson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Rashad Green is winning the standup battle so far. The fighters circling - Green throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Johnson, right into the meat.

Randall Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Randall Johnson's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Johnson is looking to work some ground and pound but Green has wrist control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Johnson has an active guard here but Green has managed to pass into half guard.

Johnson is not content to let Green control the position. Randall Johnson has got the better of the ground game so far. The fighters are battling for position here. Johnson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Green has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Green stopping the sweep attempt from Johnson. Johnson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Green's guard. Johnson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Johnson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Johnson with a flurry of punches that miss. Johnson trying to control but Green is working from the bottom. Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Johnson thows a big elbow that misses. Johnson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Johnson is keen to just control but Green is a slippery customer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Johnson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A big left from Green misses. A swing and a miss from Green. Green changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Randall Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
