Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corporal Clegg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TK Morta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clegg's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Run Like Hell. Corporal Clegg has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corporal Clegg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, TK Morta!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clegg shoots in looking for a takedown. Morta tries to sprawl out of it but Clegg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Morta manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Morta just misses with a punch to the body.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Clegg tries to pull guard but Morta won't allow it.
Clegg stalls.
Morta throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Morta scores with a shot to the side of Clegg's head.

Morta lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Clegg takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morta is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Morta wants to hit a switch here but Clegg passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Morta there!

Clegg is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Morta can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Morta tries to control Clegg's body but Clegg pushes him off. Morta squirms to his side and now Clegg has his back!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Clegg gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Morta throws a hook to the side of Clegg's head but Clegg sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morta connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Clegg some visible discomfort.
Morta wants to control but Clegg is keeping him busy.
You can see the frustration on Clegg's face as Morta controls the position.

TK Morta showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Clegg feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Clegg is working for a kimura but Morta is defending it quite comfortably.
Clegg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morta keeps working.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morta can do anything to dispel that myth.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Morta scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Clegg doesn't seem bothered though.

Clegg bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Clegg moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Morta throws a looping overhand right but Clegg ducks down to avoid it.
Morta leaves Clegg with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
TK Morta is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Clegg dives in and grabs Morta's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morta pushes down on Clegg's head and hops out.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Corporal Clegg.
I think Morta has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
