Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Schwammkopf on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Schwammkopf tries to get out of the position.
Johnson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Schwammkopf is pressing down on Johnson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Schwammkopf kicks Johnson off and gets to his feet.
Schwammkopf closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Johnson did well to prevent Schwammkopf getting side control.
Schwammkopf wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy.
Schwammkopf decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Schwammkopf moves into range and clinches up with Johnson.
Schwammkopf lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Johnson backwards.
Johnson goes for a takedown attempt but Schwammkopf pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ben Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Schwammkopf throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johnson was covering up waiting for the punch and Schwammkopf finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Schwammkopf rushes Johnson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Johnson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Johnson manages to end up in side control.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Schwammkopf counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Johnson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Schwammkopf has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Johnson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Schwammkopf is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A frustrated look appears on Schwammkopf's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Schwammkopf wants a takedown but no success here.
Johnson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Schwammkopf is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Johnson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Schwammkopf looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Johnson is defending well. Schwammkopf quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Johnson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Schwammkopf celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
