Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Longschlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Burchill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Longschlong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Burchill! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burchill fails in his attempt to clinch. Longschlong fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Burchill scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Longschlong shoots in and drives through. Burchill sprawls well. Longschlong swats away the attempt to clinch by Burchill. Longschlong looks for a takedown but Burchill sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Longschlong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Burchill rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Longschlong moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Burchill slips a jab and a cross from Longschlong.
Burchill should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Longschlong throws a nice looking combination but Burchill bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Burchill shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Longschlong is looking to clinch. Longschlong avoids a punch combination nicely.
Burchill fails with the takedown. Burchill connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Nice jab there from Burchill. Longschlong showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Burchill.

and Longschlong counters with a three punch combo that has Burchill backing up. Burchill nods at Longschlong to acknowledge the strikes. A punch combination from Burchill misses. A good leg kick by Burchill.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burchill tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Burchill fails with a takedown attempt. Longschlong looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Burchill throws a leg kick which misses Longschlong's front leg but catches the back leg as Longschlong tries to avoid it. Burchill tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Longschlong counters by moving into the clinch. Longschlong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nice body kick from Burchill. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Longschlong on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Burchill tries to clinch up but Longschlong circles away and keeps his distance. Burchill scores with a leg kick.
Burchill feints and as Longschlong raises his hands in defense, Burchill changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Burchill gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Burchill chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Burchill looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Burchill shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Longschlong napping and manages to drive through into side control! Burchill has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Burchill swinging wildly here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Longschlong stuffs the takedown attempt from Burchill. Burchill gets slowly back to his feet. Longschlong throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Burchill. Burchill wants to clinch up but Longschlong keeps it at a distance. Burchill tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Longschlong decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Burchill's guard. Burchill keeping moving, preventing Longschlong from controlling successfully. Longschlong sitting in guard here, content to control. Longschlong trying to control the position from guard on top but Burchill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Longschlong is fighting to break Burchill's control of his arms but Burchill is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Burchill can do anything to dispel that myth. Longschlong gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Burchill misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Burchill. Burchill scores with a nice strike. Burchill lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Burchill has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Longschlong is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Burchill looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Burchill is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Longschlong pulls him back up using the underhooks. Longschlong is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Burchill is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Burchill tries to clinch but Longschlong moves away and Longschlong counters with a left to the body. Longschlong throws a right and a left that Burchill avoids nicely. Burchill takes a body punch but keeps moving. Longschlong thumps Burchill with a low kick. Longschlong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burchill.

Longschlong moves into range and clinches up with Burchill. A frustrated look appears on Burchill's face as he tries to break the clinch. Burchill's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Burchill looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Longschlong gets control of Burchill's arms and successfully pulls guard. Longschlong will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Longschlong has his hands on Burchill's head, controlling the position. Burchill has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Longschlong is proving hard to escape from. Burchill trying to control the position from guard on top but Longschlong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burchill stands up from guard. Let's bang! Longschlong looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Longschlong is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Longschlong is keen to just control but Burchill is a slippery customer. Burchill keeps control of the position for the meantime. Longschlong stops Burchill from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Longschlong looks to land a strike but Burchill avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Longschlong wants to control from the top but Burchill keeps moving. Burchill not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burchill is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Longschlong is controlling him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burchill has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Longschlong is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Burchill wants to improve his position but Longschlong is controlling well.
Longschlong decides to stand up. Paul Burchill seems to be getting the better of the standup. A jab lands there for Burchill. The fight moves into the clinch position. Burchill tries to circle away but Longschlong has him pinned against the cage. Burchill misses with a knee strike.
Burchill has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

The fight stays on the outside here - Burchill looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Burchill connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Longschlong ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Longschlong swats away the attempt to clinch by Burchill. Nice straight punches there by Longschlong. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Longschlong. Burchill avoids the head kick by Longschlong.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Burchill fails to land with a series of punches.
Burchill throws a series of punches but Longschlong avoids them all with ease. Burchill connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Longschlong, right into the meat.
Burchill takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Burchill gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Longschlong to counter with a crisp jab. Longschlong stalks Burchill and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Burchill's face. Burchill staggers backwards, shaken. Longschlong darts in and clinches Burchill up against the cage. Burchill wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Burchill trying to control but Longschlong is working from the bottom. Burchill thows a big elbow that misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Longschlong showed his dominance in that final round. I think Longschlong has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
