Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Akiyama Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaaron Cent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akiyama Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jaaron Cent! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cent as he avoids it easily. Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Lee is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Cent has managed to free his arm - good work. Lee blocks the strikes from Cent.
Lee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee blocks the strikes from Cent.
Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lee prevents Cent from improving his position. Lee is working for a kimura but Cent is defending it quite comfortably.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cent wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance. Cent has his takedown stuffed and Lee counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lee drops back looking for a leg! Cent is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cent manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Cent's guard. Cent keeping full guard, as Lee tries to pass. Cent is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lee defends well. Cent looks gassed! Lee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lee drops back looking for a leg! Cent is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cent manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Cent's guard. Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cent has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cent striking from his own guard. Lee is pushing down on Cent's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cent is fighting to maintain full guard but Lee has managed to sneak the leg through. Cent is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cent sees it coming and defends easily. Lee is working for a submission of some sort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Cent working for a triangle but Lee defends it easily.
Lee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Cent is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lee defends well. Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cent swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Cent is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Cent got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cent has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cent in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Akiyama Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lee throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
