Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between LaDanian Rucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Spadafora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, LaDanian Rucker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Spadafora! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, David Schapiro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spadafora moves into the clinch successfully.
Rucker letting Spadafora take a breather here. Spadafora receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Rucker wants a takedown.
Rucker is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Spadafora gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Spadafora stalls. Rucker goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spadafora taking a breather. Rucker stalling in the clinch but Spadafora improves position. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Spadafora takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Danny Spadafora. Rucker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Rucker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Spadafora down to the mat. Spadafora avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Spadafora moves into range and clinches up with Rucker. Rucker stalling in the clinch but Spadafora improves position. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Danny Spadafora. Rucker is trying hard to land a takedown here. Spadafora sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spadafora closes the distance and pushes Rucker back into the cage. Rucker being controlled against the cage. Spadafora prevents a takedown attempt there.
Spadafora's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. The crowd are getting on Spadafora's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Rucker wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rucker throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Spadafora because Rucker loaded up on that one. Rucker tries to control but Spadafora wriggling away. Spadafora wants to control but Rucker is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Spadafora is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Rucker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Spadafora down to the mat. Spadafora avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rucker misses with a looping right. Spadafora moves into the clinch. Rucker goes for a takedown in the clinch but Spadafora prevents it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rucker tries to score a body lock takedown but Spadafora shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Danny Spadafora comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Spadafora has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
