Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Draco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thomas Hammer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tony Draco! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Draco throws a jab but it's blocked by Hammer. Draco is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hammer. Jab from Draco.
It looks like Thomas Hammer has been cut. A punch combination from Draco misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hammer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A left lands for Draco. Hammer throws a jab when Draco was well out of range. Hammer wants to clinch. Hammer slips a jab from Draco. Hammer tries to clinch but Draco moves out of range. Draco misses with a looping left. Hammer fails with a takedown attempt. Draco uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Draco keeps the fight on the outside. Draco will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A combination from Draco does no damage. Hammer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hammer closes the distance and clinches. Hammer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. A left lands for Draco. Draco throws a series of strikes that have Hammer backpedaling.
Hammer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Draco. Draco tries to land a front kick but Hammer steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Hammer tries to clinch but Draco is having none of it. Hammer avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hammer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Draco is trying to control but can't.
Hammer controlling the action here. Hammer prevents Draco from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Draco trying to control but Hammer postures up.
Draco actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammer is taking a breather. Draco says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Draco slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Draco is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammer thows a big elbow that misses. Draco pushes Hammer off and gets back to his feet.
Draco throws a head kick but Hammer moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Draco connects with the punch. Hammer walks into a straight right hand from Draco. Hammer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Hammer moves into the clinch. Draco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Draco misses with a looping left. Hammer tries to clinch there but Draco circles away.
Draco might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Hammer moves out of range of the strikes. Hammer gets a takedown into half guard. Hammer is breathing heavily. Hammer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Draco does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Draco trying to control but Hammer postures up.
Hammer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Draco is just riding it out for now. Hammer eventually gives up the hold. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Draco dominated that round. The cut man is working on Thomas Hammer's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Draco lands with a cross. Hammer slips a jab and a cross from Draco.
Hammer throws a sloppy head kick and Draco moves out of range easily. Hammer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Hammer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Hammer prevents Draco from improving his position. Draco has one foot on Hammer's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Draco connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Good standup being displayed there by Draco as he connects with a hook. Hammer wants to clinch up but Draco keeps it at a distance. Hammer blocks a leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hammer tries to close the distance and clinch but Draco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Draco fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hammer. Draco throws out a loose jab but Hammer uses good head movement to avoid it. Draco turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Draco.
Nice straight punches there by Draco. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Draco. Draco scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Draco misses with a two punch combination.
Draco dips to his left and cracks Hammer with an uppercut! Draco lands a lovely overhand right. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hammer throws a leg kick and Draco cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Draco lands the left hand. Hammer on the wrong end of a nice jab. Draco connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Thomas Hammer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Draco lands a head shot. Danga de danga de dang - Draco scores with a four punch combination! Draco connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Draco lands with a kick to the temple. Hammer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammer misses with a takedown attempt - Draco sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Draco has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Draco connects with a crisp jab. Draco lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Hammer. Hammer in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Draco can't do much from the bottom here. Draco tries to improve position but can't. Draco is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammer wants to control but Draco is keeping him busy. Draco gets back to half guard. Hammer controlling the action here. Draco is holding on to half guard well. Draco tries to kick Hammer off but Hammer keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Draco kicks off Hammer and gets to his feet. Draco missing with a left hand there. Hammer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Draco connects with a nice looking jab.
Draco lands with an uppercut that bounces Hammer off the cage and back into rage. Hammer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hammer stopping the sweep attempt from Draco. Hammer trying to control the position from guard on top but Draco is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Draco trying to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Draco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Thomas Hammer's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Horrible takedown by Hammer or perhaps it was just good defense by Draco which made him look bad. Hammer shoots and misses and Draco counters with a good low kick that Hammer was not able to check. Draco throws a nice inside leg kick. Draco moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Draco keeps Hammer at a distance using the push kick. Draco will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Good exchange - Draco coming out on top. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jab, jab by Draco - just one landing. Hammer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hammer drops his hands momentarily and Draco takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Draco stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A punch lands to the side of Hammer 's head but he takes it in his stride. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Draco connects with a solid leg kick. Draco takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Tony Draco seems to be getting the better of the standup. Draco lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Draco scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circling - Draco throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Draco displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Draco dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hammer. That did some damage! Hammer has Draco up against the cage in a clinch.
Hammer looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Draco's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Draco, as that shot connected.
Draco dips to his left and cracks Hammer with an uppercut! Hammer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Draco but Draco pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Hammer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hammer fails to land the takedown. Draco works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A solid leg kick lands there for Draco.
Draco darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Hammer is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Draco throws a combination. Hammer tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Tony Draco is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. An inside leg kick lands from Draco.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Draco cracks the inside of Hammer's front leg. Draco misses the jab. A head kick misses from Hammer. Draco cracks Hammer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Hammer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Draco circles away. Good shot there by Draco. Draco scores with the left hand. Hammer knows he should have avoided that one. Draco misses with an uppercut. Draco lands an overhand right. Hammer tries for a takedown but Draco circles away easily and Draco counters with a series of strikes. Hammer will be more careful next time no doubt. Hammer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hammer prevents Draco from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Draco has a hand on Hammer's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hammer takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Draco working to try and regain half guard.
Hammer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Draco is looking to escape. Draco holds on for dear life, controlling Hammer's posture momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Draco is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Draco has given up his back here.
Draco rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Tony Draco is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Draco tries to roll over but Hammer keeps him under control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Draco trying to control here.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Draco comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Draco winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
