Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kim Woo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rean Ipman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kim Woo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kim Woo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rean Ipman! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ipman throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Woo misses with the combination.
Ipman is looking to clinch but Woo is avoiding it.
Ipman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Woo was covering up waiting for the punch and Ipman finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Woo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ipman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ipman dodges the punch combination from Woo.
Woo is looking to score with low kicks. Ipman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Woo is fending him off so far but Ipman persists. Nope, Woo circles away and we're back to standing. Woo misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ipman throws a head kick that half lands.
Ipman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Woo tries to roll over but Ipman keeps him under control. Woo is working hard here to advance position. Ipman trying to control from half guard but Woo is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ipman is working away from the top position though. Ipman is figuring out what he wants to do next. Ipman is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Woo manages to get to full guard. Ipman wants to get up but he can't break Woo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A combination from Woo does no damage. Woo throws a nice outside leg kick. Ipman looks gassed! Woo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ipman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ipman throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Ipman keeping moving, preventing Woo from controlling successfully. Ipman wants to get back to his feet but Woo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Woo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Woo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Woo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Woo drops back for a leg! That's four minutes gone in the round. Ipman tries to get to full guard but Woo has control of the leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Woo slips a nice elbow through Ipman's hands, connecting with Ipman's forehead. Woo working the head and body with strikes. Woo is working for a kimura but Ipman is defending it quite comfortably.
Woo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ipman is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kim Woo!
