Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between steve steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spandex Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, steve steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Spandex Rex!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rex lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but steel circles away quickly and effectively.
steel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
steel closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
steel on the wrong end of a nice jab.

steel scores a takedown into full mount!

steel swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rex is now in steel's guard. A big mistake from steel there, giving up the dominant position!
Rex throws a big right hand that misses.
Rex trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Rex is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rex wants to pass the guard but steel is keeping the position.
Rex stopping the sweep attempt from steel.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rex trying to control the position from guard on top but steel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rex has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rex in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Rex with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
steel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rex stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. steel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rex wants to control from the top but steel keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
steel wants to sweep here but Rex controlling him for the moment.
Rex postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
steel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rex trying to control but steel is working from the bottom.
steel has Rex pulled in close to control his posture.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rex lands a slapping body shot.
steel is breathing heavily.

Rex drops steel with a beautiful combination! steel stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rex is looking for the KO!


steel is rocked!


It looks like steve steel has been cut.
Are you kidding me?! Rex ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent steel clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Spandex Rex!
