Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Desbiens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Xayle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Desbiens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Xayle! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Xayle gets in close and instigates a clinch. Desbiens tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Desbiens wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Xayle ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Xayle no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Desbiens wants to pass the guard but Xayle is keeping the position. Desbiens trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Xayle manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Xayle trying to control but Desbiens is working from the bottom. Desbiens working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Xayle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Xayle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Xayle wants to control from the top but Desbiens keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Desbiens manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Desbiens fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Xayle is in all sorts of trouble here.
Desbiens wants to get back to his feet but Xayle is holding on tight.
Xayle tries to hold on but Desbiens postures up. Desbiens cracks Xayle with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Xayle is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Desbiens trying to control but Xayle is having none of it. Xayle is looking to get to half guard. Desbiens punching from mount but Xayle doing a good job of avoiding damage. Desbiens tries to control but Xayle wriggling away. Xayle can't escape the position.

Desbiens is keen to just control but Xayle is a slippery customer. Xayle preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Xayle wants to control the action here but instead Desbiens manages to pass to full mount! Xayle really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Xayle wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Xayle wants to control but Desbiens is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but John Xayle will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Desbiens shoots for a takedown but Xayle saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Desbiens dives in and grabs Xayle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Xayle pushes down on Desbiens's head and hops out. Xayle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Desbiens throws out the jab. Xayle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Xayle wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Desbiens. That's going to take a lot out of him. Xayle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Desbiens is in trouble now - Xayle has advanced to mount! Xayle controlling the pace for now. Desbiens tries to lock up and control but Xayle gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xayle wants to control the pace but Desbiens is squirming around nicely. Xayle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Desbiens. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Xayle stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Xayle scores with a takedown into Desbiens's guard. Xayle working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Xayle stands up over Desbiens, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Xayle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Xayle stands up and waves to Desbiens to follow him. Xayle has managed to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xayle scores with an uppercut up the middle. Xayle gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Desbiens regains guard.

Xayle tries to free his leg and advance position but Desbiens is retaining full guard. Xayle cracks Desbiens with a solid left hand. Xayle not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Desbiens avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Xayle wants to control from the top but Desbiens keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Xayle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Xayle controlling from the top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Desbiens gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Xayle gets to his feet - Desbiens follows without any prompting. An inside leg kick lands from Xayle. Xayle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Xayle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Xayle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Desbiens is squirming around, avoiding Xayle's attempts to control the action. Xayle landing punches. Desbiens is squirming around, avoiding Xayle's attempts to control the action. Xayle get's back to his feet. Desbiens takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Xayle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Desbiens avoids it really well and circles away. Xayle decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Xayle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Xayle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Desbiens pinned against the cage. Desbiens gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Xayle. Xayle closes the distance and pushes Desbiens back into the cage. Xayle is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Desbiens gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Dan Desbiens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Xayle. Xayle tries to pull guard but Desbiens won't allow it.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Xayle. Desbiens fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Xayle tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Desbiens just stands there and leans against the cage. Xayle turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Xayle manages to end up in side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Xayle decides to stand back up. Xayle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Desbiens pinned against the cage. Desbiens gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Desbiens thows a body kick. Xayle tries to catch it but that hurt him. Desbiens tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Desbiens shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Xayle as he avoids it easily. Xayle throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A head kick by Desbiens misses and Xayle counters with a shoot takedown. Desbiens fights it but they end up in guard. John Xayle has got the better of the ground game so far. Xayle stands and throws Desbiens's legs to the side, diving into side control. You can see the frustration on Desbiens's face as Xayle controls the position. Xayle lands some shots froms side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xayle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Desbiens keeps working. Xayle advances nicely into full mount. Xayle prevents Desbiens from getting the reversal. Xayle controlling from the full mount. Xayle lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Xayle working for a guillotine from mount but Desbiens is in no mood to give up. Desbiens wants to hold on but Xayle pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Xayle trying to control but Desbiens is having none of it. Xayle scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Desbiens?
Xayle wants to finish this one by submission but Desbiens is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Xayle. You get the feeling that Desbiens really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Dan Desbiens has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! John Xayle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Xayle gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! John Xayle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Xayle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
