Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minoru Cho Choi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by The White Stripes - Ball and Biscuit. Cho Choi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gerry & The Pacemakers - You'll Never Walk Alone. Minoru Cho Choi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Jack White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Minoru Cho Choi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses the shot to the body.
White fails with the takedown.
Cho Choi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping White at a distance.

White closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - White lands in his opponent's guard.
Whiteis looking to pass into half guard but Cho Choi pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Cho Choi is in guard.
Cho Choi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Cho Choi is looking to stand up but White won't let him.

White is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cho Choi is aware though and is defending well.

Cho Choi trying desperately to get to his feet.
Cho Choi tries to lock up and control but White gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

White jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Cho Choi is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Cho Choi and White has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

White swings around for an armbar but Cho Choi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into White's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Cho Choi puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
White is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Cho Choi jumps into side control!
The ground and pound from Cho Choi seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
White tries to buck Cho Choi off but Cho Choi is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cho Choi. White does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cho Choi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
White is breathing heavily.
White throws a right and a left that Cho Choi avoids nicely.
White looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

White takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cho Choi throws a leg kick but White sees it coming and checks it nicely.

It looks like Jack White has been cut.
Cho Choi slaps away a takedown attempt from White, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack White. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cho Choi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
White shoots in for a takedown but Cho Choi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cho Choi throws a front kick that sends White stumbling back into the cage.
Cho Choi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. White doesn't seem bothered though.
Cho Choi lands a right hook to the body.
Minoru Cho Choi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!

White takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Cho Choi throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Cho Choi is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down White rather than just go for the knockout.

Jab, jab by White - just one landing.
White fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cho Choi lands with a nice body punch.
Cho Choi cracks White with a good jab.
White tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cho Choi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten White somewhat.
Cho Choi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cho Choi scores with a hook to the body. White takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
White fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Cho Choi misses with a double jab.
White misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Minoru Cho Choi dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jack White's cut.

Cho Choi lands with a hook. White tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
White fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
White has a takedown stuffed.
Cho Choi scores with a body shot.
Cho Choi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping White at a distance.
Cho Choi connects with a solid leg kick.
Cho Choi misses with a head kick.
White shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cho Choi as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack White. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cho Choi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps White's head backwards.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cho Choi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

White just misses with a punch to the body.
Cho Choi takes a swing at White's ribcage but misses.

Jack White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

White shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Poor strikes thrown by White there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

White goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cho Choi is on top in guard.

White is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

White is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cho Choi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cho Choi's back!

White is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Cho Choi knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Cho Choi for a finish.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Minoru Cho Choi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Cho Choi lands with a thumping leg kick.
White shoots in but Cho Choi avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Cho Choi lands a big shot that drops White! Can he finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cho Choi wants to stand but White has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

White escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cho Choi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cho Choi postures up and lands a big shot to White's brow.
Cho Choi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed White's guard.
White is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Cho Choi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cho Choi, right into the meat.
Jack White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cho Choi is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Cho Choi circles away and we're back to standing.

White goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Cho Choi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for White but great work by Cho Choi.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
White throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cho Choi's waist but Cho Choi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing White off to one side.
White tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Cho Choi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
White gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

And that's the end of the fight!
Minoru Cho Choi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Cho Choi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
