Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Digger Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Barton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Digger Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eli Barton! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barton tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch. Barton breaks the clinch.
Barton moves into the clinch successfully.
Barton gets underhooks to prevent Jones's takedown attempt.
Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Barton pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jones tries for a takedown but Barton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Digger Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones fails to land the takedown. Barton takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Barton is rocked! Jones wants to clinch and Barton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard. Barton is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him? Barton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Barton seems to have recovered his senses. Barton stands up from guard. Let's bang! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Barton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barton seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Barton tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Jones trying to control from the bottom.
Barton is looking for a kimura here.
Barton lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Barton takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Barton looks gassed! Jones trying to control here.
Barton not doing much here.
Barton lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barton seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barton is thwarting Jones's attempts to control the position. Barton trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Barton has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Jones reaches up to try and control the position but Barton seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Jones rolls and tries to escape and now Barton has his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Barton not allowing Jones to control his hands. Jones is keeping busy.
Jones is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Jones holding both Barton 's hands and preventing any damage. Barton throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Jones trying to get back to his feet but Barton is in full control for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eli Barton dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination. Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. Barton pulls guard. Barton controlling Jones's posture. Barton's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Jones won't allow Barton to sweep him here. Jones working some strikes from top position. Jones stands up from Barton's guard - Jones perhaps looking for a knockout. Barton circles away from the clinch attempt and Barton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barton is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barton wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Barton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jones wants to sweep but no luck. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.
Jones wants to control from the top but Barton keeps moving. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Barton is retaining full guard. Barton wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Barton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.
Barton pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard. Barton passes to side control. Barton stands up and we're back to a striking position. Excellent takedown into side control there by Barton. Barton wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barton controls the position. Barton postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Jones tries to bench press Barton off him but Barton keeps the position. Barton working the ground and pound from side control. Barton is working Jones over with some ground and pound from side control. Jones takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones tries to escape but Barton is in control. Barton decides to stand back up. Digger Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Barton shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Barton trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Barton pushing down on Jones's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones tries to get to full guard but Barton has control of the leg. Jones wants to control but Barton is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eli Barton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Jones with a lazy takedown attempt and Barton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Eli Barton has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones working a defensive guard but Barton passes into half guard.
Barton keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Barton is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Jones has managed to free his arm - good work. Jones tries to roll over but Barton keeps him under control. Barton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Barton looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barton trying to control the pace. Barton tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Jones wants to control but Barton is keeping busy.
Barton tries to pass to full mount but Jones defends it. Jones is trying to control but Barton passes into side control!
Jones tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Barton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jones prevents Barton from getting the reversal. Barton wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Jones is not going to allow Barton to sit and survive in this position. Barton breaks Jones's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Barton stands up and waves to Jones to follow him. Barton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barton trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Jones is posturing up here but Barton has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Jones tries to roll out but it's too tight and Jones has to tap! Slick submission there by Barton!
