Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terry Etim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathers comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Buck cherry kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Etim.
Mathers throws a right and a left that Etim avoids nicely.
Etim changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mathers tries to avoid it but Etim manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mathers to the ground. Mathers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Karl Mathers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Etim dives in and grabs Mathers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mathers pushes down on Etim's head and hops out.
Mathers looks to land a combination but Etim avoids it well.

Etim shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mathers as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Etim. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mathers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Etim wants to clinch.
Etim shoots for a takedown but Mathers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mathers moves out of range as Etim strikes.
Mathers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mathers throws a right hand that Etim ducks under and follows up with a left that Etim also avoids with ease.
Etim throws a hook but Mathers avoids it easily.
Mathers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Etim moves away.
Mathers scores with a jab to the body.
Etim is breathing heavily.
Mathers feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Etim sprawling to the canvas! Etim rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mathers finish him?!
It looks like Terry Etim has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mathers tries to bum rush Etim with a series of wild strikes but Etim uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Mathers steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Etim is out on his feet! Mathers sets himself and nearly takes Etim's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
