The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollard shoots in and drives through. Shklyarevskiy sprawls well.
Pollard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Pollard tries to clinch but fails miserably
so Shklyarevskiy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Pollard avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ivan Shklyarevskiy.
