Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Happy Gilmore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Sherk!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilmore throws a low kick but Sherk avoids it.
Gilmore misses with a looping left.
Sherk ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sherk takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sherk takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Bryan Sherk has been cut.
Gilmore takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Gilmore is looking to clinch.
Gilmore is looking to score with low kicks.
Gilmore throws an overhand right that lands on Sherk's shoulder, as Sherk tries to avoid the shot.
Sherk throws a lazy right hand but Gilmore sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Gilmore misses the target.
Gilmore throws a big shot that misses.
Good shot there by Gilmore.
Sherk checks a low kick from Gilmore.
A combination from Sherk does no damage.
A jab from Gilmore misses.
Gilmore lands with a hook. Sherk tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Gilmore circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Sherk to the canvas! Sherk doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Gilmore keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
