Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samu Voutilainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kumina Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voutilainen comes to the cage accompanied by Girls wanna have fun. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voutilainen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sato manages to avoid it.
Voutilainen tries to clinch up.
Sato is looking to land body kicks.
Sato chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sato attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Voutilainen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Voutilainen swings around for an armbar but Sato sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Voutilainen's guard.

Sato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Voutilainen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sato thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sato drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sato jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Voutilainen jabs Sato right on the nose. Sato blinks but takes it well.
Voutilainen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Voutilainen moves out of range of the leg kick from Sato.
Voutilainen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Voutilainen moves in looking to clinch but Sato pushes him off.
Voutilainen tries a head kick but it misses.
Sato throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Voutilainen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sato shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kumina Sato showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Voutilainen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sato counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Sato is landing with some decent strikes but Voutilainen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Voutilainen tries to reverse the position but Sato maintains control.
Sato has control of Voutilainen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Voutilainen regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Sato might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Voutilainen kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
