Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sho Fukamachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pehr Erik Liljestrand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fukamachi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Genki Sudo world order mindshift. Pehr Erik Liljestrand has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sho Fukamachi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pehr Erik Liljestrand! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fukamachi clinches. Fukamachi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. A right handed body shot lands from Fukamachi.
Liljestrand is looking to break free of the clinch but Fukamachi has double underhooks. Fukamachi wants a takedown.
Liljestrand tries to circle away but Fukamachi has him pinned against the cage. Fukamachi is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Liljestrand can't fight it off and eventually Fukamachi manages to take the fight to the floor. Liljestrand looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Liljestrand wants to get back to his feet but Fukamachi is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Liljestrand is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fukamachi sitting in guard here, content to control. Liljestrand wants to stand but Fukamachi is controlling the position. Fukamachi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sho Fukamachi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Liljestrand displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fukamachi. Nice sprawl there from Liljestrand as Fukamachi shoots in. Liljestrand was covering up waiting for the punch and Fukamachi finishes the takedown easily into guard. Liljestrand is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fukamachi is controlling him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fukamachi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fukamachi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fukamachi prevents Liljestrand from getting back to his feet. Liljestrand keeping moving, preventing Fukamachi from controlling successfully. Fukamachi is stalling in the full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Fukamachi shoots in for a double leg but Liljestrand sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fukamachi misses with a takedown attempt - Liljestrand sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sho Fukamachi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fukamachi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fukamachi is breathing heavily. Liljestrand wants to stand up but Fukamachi is controlling him. Fukamachi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Fukamachi won't allow Liljestrand to get back to his feet.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Fukamachi chips away with some ground and pound. Fukamachi trying to control but Liljestrand is working from the bottom. Liljestrand is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Fukamachi tries to score a body lock takedown but Liljestrand shows good agility there to stay on his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fukamachi sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Fukamachi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fukamachi fails to land the takedown. Fukamachi wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Liljestrand tries to close the distance and clinch but Fukamachi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fukamachi closes the distance and clinches up with Liljestrand, looking for a takedown. Fukamachi pushes Liljestrand against the cage but Liljestrand circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fukamachi moves into the clinch successfully.
Fukamachi gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Liljestrand won't allow Fukamachi to pass to mount. Liljestrand pushes Fukamachi off looking to stand but Fukamachi dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fukamachi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Liljestrand's head. Liljestrand blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fukamachi. Fukamachi takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Fukamachi is pressing down on Liljestrand's thigh, looking to free his foot. Liljestrand is holding on for now. Fukamachi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Liljestrand does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Liljestrand is trying to stand back up but Fukamachi is controlling him

Liljestrand really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fukamachi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Liljestrand is trying to stand up here but Fukamachi is controlling him well. Liljestrand is in trouble now - Fukamachi has advanced to mount! Liljestrand is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Fukamachi is landing with some decent strikes but Liljestrand is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Fukamachi tries to control but Liljestrand wriggling away. Fukamachi postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Liljestrand looks a forlorn figure.

Liljestrand fending off the submission attempt from Fukamachi. Fukamachi just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Liljestrand is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Fukamachi off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Fukamachi is punishing Liljestrand with strikes - can he finish him?! Liljestrand covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Liljestrand is looking to escape. Still in half guard, Fukamachi seems content to control. Fukamachi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Liljestrand tries to kick Fukamachi off but Fukamachi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fukamachi moves into full mount! Liljestrand won't be happy about that! Fukamachi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Fukamachi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Liljestrand wants to try and get back to his feet. Fukamachi content just to control the position here. Fukamachi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Liljestrand for as long as he can get away with. Pehr Erik Liljestrand has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fukamachi trying to control but he's not successful this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Sho Fukamachi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fukamachi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
