Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Tallaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tallaaja moves into range and clinches up with Slice.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Slice bucks up and tries to throw Tallaaja off but instead Tallaaja has got his back!

Slice is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Tallaaja gets his way!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tallaaja wants to stand but Slice is controlling the position.

Slice drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tallaaja looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tallaaja looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tallaaja!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Tallaaja dives in and grabs Slice's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slice pushes down on Tallaaja's head and hops out.

Slice jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tallaaja walks away with a smile on his face. Slice gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slice stands up and beckons Tallaaja to join him on the feet.

Slice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
