Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Unity (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and niki kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). kimura has chosen self vs self as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kimura closes this distance looking for a takedown but Unity circles away.

Unity shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Unity drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but kimura manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Unity has kimura in his guard.

Unity is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and kimura defends well.

Unity is looking for a triangle but kimura pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Unity drops back, looking for a kneebar! kimura looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. kimura looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from kimura!

kimura has knee on belly momentarily but Unity bucks him off and regains half guard.

kimura is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Unity sees it coming and defends easily.

kimura has control of Unity's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Unity regains control of the situation pretty easily.

kimura is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Unity can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Unity keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Unity drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Unity as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! kimura screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Unity! Nice submission victory there!
